We aspire to be a responsible and sustainable business who delivers strong performance for all our stakeholders. We believe that conducting business in the right way is just as important as the revenue we generate, or the projects we win.

Whether it is looking after the wellbeing of our staff, being a responsible merchant to our customers, protecting the environment through sustainable working practise, or giving back to the community, embracing our corporate social responsibility defines who we are and what we do.

People First

We are nothing without our people.

We put the safety, health and wellbeing of our staff first.

At MLE, we look out for each other, treat everyone fairly and with respect. We value our people and believe in setting people up to succeed through fair financial compensation, education and training quality work-related benefits and around the clock health and wellbeing support.

We believe honesty and transparency is the cornerstone of how we communicate with one another.

Our Clients

We are proud to have worked for many international blue-chip companies for decades in private and public sectors across utilities, oil & gas, rail, health & education, construction, steel and process industries.

We never compromise on safety or quality and look after our people and our clients alike by being open and straightforward to deal with. We work collaboratively and when problems arise, we try to sort them out quickly & transparently.

We know that one size doesn’t fit all and listen to what others expect and need from us.

Our safety, quality and environmental compliance are regulated by our integrated business management system to ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001

Ethical Business

Engaging in fair business practise that respects and protects the healthy, safety and wellbeing of all is fundamental.
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery in own business, our supply chains or any other business relationship.

We take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and are committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all our business dealings wherever we operate and implementing and enforcing effective systems to counter bribery.

We also strive to ensure that all purchased goods & materials are sourced ethically, and our dedicated SHEQ department ensures that all our operations are compliant and able to grow through continuous improvement.

ENVIRONMENT & SUSTAINABILITY

MLE use our know-how to find long term, responsible solutions for the efficient transfer or control of electrical power from renewable sources, enhanced public transport infrastructure & more efficient industrial processes.

As a business we are recycling more and encouraging walking or cycling to work whilst reducing our energy usage and carbon footprint

Wherever possible we buy goods and services locally.

Community & Good Causes

We recognise our shared responsibility to support both the local community, and wider philanthropic causes that progresses health, education and crisis-management wherever we work.

We strive to give back to our community by setting aside funds to provide regular charitable donations, sponsoring events, and providing a platform for our staff to request donations to causes close to their hearts, or promotions of local businesses through our Wellbeing Initiative.

MLE also looks to support the Welsh economy through building strong regional supplier, as well as utilising local businesses for wellbeing initiatives
